The sound of a brand

When I began working with Prasaga on a B2B advertisement, they hired me as a composer to score the soundtrack. Initially, their plan was to find samples and add them to the film after the music was finished. However, during the R&D phase, we realized the film would have much more impact if the music and sound design were integrated seamlessly. As a result, I took on the role of sound designer as well, and we hit the ground running.

A key audio moment in the ad was when the first pink orb turned on. It had to set a friendly, inviting tone while also being unique and slightly unexpected. I collaborated closely with the visual team, exchanging ideas in rounds. As the animation developed, I experimented with various synths, pedals, and foley samples to blend real-world and digital elements and create the perfect sound.

Prasaga felt that the first option was a little too safe and gentle, but they liked some of the initial sounds used.

Audio-Logo: Closing with personality

During the project, Prasaga became excited about the idea of an audio logo to punctuate the ad. They felt other brands’ logos lacked a strong sonic identity and wanted theirs to be a true representation of the brand. They envisioned a logo that would convey security, modernity, and a playful, personal touch to reflect the industry they’re in.

Initially I sent them 3 ideas to get the ball rolling and to see what they were vibing with.

They liked the punch of the second logo, but felt it might be a little too abstract to use in perpetuity.

The Prasaga team loved the movement within the third option, but they missed the punch that the second one had. Because they ultimately liked elements from each version, the final is comprised from pieces of each option.
